Tazewell County Law & Justice Center is a 196-bed direct supervision adult jail that also includes the county sheriff’s administrative offices and a 12-bed juvenile detention area. Working with Tazewell County and the City of Pekin, Illinois to plan and construct the facility and the adjacent City Municipal building, resulted in a unified civic center and public safety complex linked by a public green space. The municipal building accommodates all police department and city hall functions.
